The
new rake of the Butterfly series combines the well-known advantages
offered by the half-carried rake with central swath with a lighter
weight and great handiness both at work and during transportation. It
is hooked to the three-point linkage of the tractor hitch. Being carried,
it demands a tractor able to hoist 1000 kgs. Working width can be adjusted
manually on the extractable arms in order to adapt the rake to the
cutting bar width. Ideal to make forage swaths in general, but especially
of alfalfa immediately after harvesting to form a soft and perfectly
symmetrical swath.
